Pictures I adore!

Best Friends Forever!!

My best friend of 23 years is Morgan. We have been through anything and everything you can imagine (and probably some things you can't!) My kids call her Memo - I am not real sure where that came from but probably something to do with Nemo! She is pregnant and having a little girl - Avery Claire. I am so excited for her and Jake. I know they are going to be wonderful parents!

While we were in Hattiesburg for my aunt's wedding, we stopped by to see the nursery and catch up. Next time I see Morgan, she will be a MOMMY!

Wedding Weekend #1

It is wedding season and this past weekend we celebrated the marriage of my Aunt Donna to a wonderful man named David. My aunt is strong in her faith. David treats her the way a Godly woman should be treated. I am so excited about David becoming a part of our family. Congrats and I love yall!

This is a picture of my aunt and her son, Matthew, who walked
her down the aisle along with my grandfather.

When we arrived at the church, Dannah's main concern was who is going to toss the flowers for Aunt Donna! So, after everything was winding down, Aunt Donna let Dannah carry her bouquet around - talking about a prissy little girl!

This is a picture of my grandparents, Mammaw and Pappaw, with Ayden, Dannah and Jameson. I have such fond memories of spending summers with them-they are absolutely wonderful people. They give of themselves to everyone - family or not. I wish that we lived closer to them so my kids could know them the way I do. I love you Mammaw and Pappaw!

These are 'The Three Muskateers'! (They are within 18 months of each other.) They love each other and will tell you in a heartbeat they are best friends! They are so much fun to be around! The bottom picture is where they were showing everyone their 'BIG MUSCLES'! Too funny!!

Since I am usually the one taking the pictures, I do not have many pictures with my kids. Ayden insisted on having a turn, so I took full advantage! I sure do love my babies!

Old pictures

I was going through my snapfish account and found these old pictures.

Dannah, Nannaw (David's mom), and Rylan

Dannah was 11 months old and we took Rylan with us and met Nannaw and Lyndsay in Anniston, Alabama. This is the trip where Nannaw found out that Dannah loved tomatoes and ranch dressing and the little packet of cream to put in your coffee! Such good memories.

Lyndsay and Dannah

Dannah still has this shirt that her Nannaw bought her... and still wears it!
Lacy and Dannah

Jameson, Dannah, and Ayden

All 3 of these babies are within 18 months of each other. Jameson and Ayden are 2 1/2 months apart. When Jameson was born we called him little man. That did not last long! When Ayden was born, Jameson became 'Big Boy!'

My Monkey Doodles!

I am not really sure what started it, but I refer to my kids as monkey doodles. For the most part, they are really sweet kids that mind really well! Dannah and Jameson love each other and nothing warms my heart more than when they tell each other "I love you" own their own.

Anyone that knows Dannah knows that she is the boss in her and Jameson's relationship... well, almost any relationship she has. But there are moments when she is so selfless and protective in dealing with Jameson - it's those moments that I just want to hold her.

Jameson is my baby, in every sense of the word! He loves to cuddle and be held... and cry! He is polite, mild mannered, and SENSITIVE. Just when he does something wrong, he looks up at with those big blue eyes and says "I wuv you!"

It amazes me how different the two are!

Happy 30th Birthday!

Yesterday was David's 30th birthday. He truly is my best friend. I am so thankful that God knew what I needed in a spouse and put us together! I tried making plans to celebrate the big day. However, David is a farmer and it is planting season so things did not work out quite how I planned. But one of my responsible softball players kept the kids and we went to dinner alone... we had forgotten what that was like! It was nice. I love you David!

fond memories in the making...

We are fortunate to live next door to David's grandmother, so Dannah and Jameson get to spend a lot of time with their great-grandmother. Jameson and Mammaw have developed a special bond. (Basically, she has spoiled him rotten!) Yesterday, he stayed home with her and every 5 minutes asked to go to the store. He knows that means he is getting a new toy! However, Dannah is finally figuring out that she has been missing out. Now they have to take turns spending the night with Mammaw.

SNOW

This is the first substantial amount of snow that we have had in years. Needless to say, it is the first time the kids got to play in snow. We had so much fun building a snowman and throwing snowballs at each other. It was absolutely beautiful!

Easter

Easter is always a special time of year, but this year was extremely special to me. We spent countless hours "talking about God," as my kids put it, and how He sent His son to die for us so that we could spend eternity with Him. It really amazed me at how in tune they are to Him and His unconditional love. What a mighty God we serve!

DAWGS

Last fall we took the kids to God's country for Homecoming. We went to the football game with David's sister's family and had a blast! It was so much fun to see the look on their faces when the team came running out on to the field! One thing is for sure, they are DAWGS!
